Singer Jessie J has been forced to cancel all her festival appearances this summer, due to a serious injury.
The Price Tag star has is under strict instructions from her doctor not to perform due, following emergency surgery on her broken foot.
In a statement, the 23-year-old said she was “extremely upset” at having to cancel, explaining:
“Sorry doesn’t feel enough to say, I am devastated for my fans that I know have been waiting to see me and working hard for tickets.
“I was so excited about the summer and I’m as upset as you all are. But unfortunately these things happen.
“I have to remain positive and I promise I will make it up later in the year.”
Festival Director at T in the Park where Jessie was scheduled to perform, Geoff Ellis, also commented on the situation, saying:
“I am gutted. She was someone I was really looking forward to seeing and I’m sure a lot of T in the Parkers were too.
“We wish her a speedy recovery and hope to welcome her next year.”
The festivals were she was due to perform are Paris: Orange Rock Corps, T in the Park, Oxegen, T4 on the Beach, Wembley: Orange Rock Corps, i-Tunes Festival, Lovebox, Radio Aire Party in the Park, Key 103 Summertime Live, Summer Sonic Japan and Digester Event Stockholm.
