Lady Gaga has walked away with four prizes at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards.
The 25-year-old singer scooped the award for Best Female, as well as Best Song and Best Video for her hit Born This Way and Best Fans.
Gaga accepted her Best Song award from Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere and said:
“I knew that this song was very special when I wrote it… I just didn’t know how special it would be.
“I love you Little Monsters, until the end!”
Teen star Justin Bieber and US singer Bruno Mars were the other big winners on the night, each winning two gongs each.
Queen received a Global Icon award, with band members Brian May and Roger Taylor collecting the honour.
There were live performances on the night from Coldplay, Jessie J, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Selena Gomez – who also hosted the show.
Essex-born Jessie also lead an emotional tribute to the late Amy Winehouse, who was found dead at her home back in July.
She said:
“I never got to thank Amy for breaking boundaries as I truly believe without her I wouldn’t be standing here today.
“She set a new standard for British female artists.”
MTV EMAs took place at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on 6 November.
