Adele denied reports via Twitter
Adele has responded to reports that she has secretly married boyfriend Simon Konecki.
News broke yesterday (30 August) that the pregnant singer had tied the knot, after a source claimed to have been present at the ceremony.
US magazine Life & Style backed up the reports, stating that the 24-year-old had been spotted in London wearing a wedding band.
The Rolling in the Deep star, who is rumoured to be giving birth any day now, has since responded via her Twitter account, posting:
“I’m not married…Zzzzzzz”.
Rumours started circulating when a supposed guest at the ‘wedding’ told the Mail Online yesterday that the couple “did get married”, claiming:
“They did get married, and I was present. It was a fabulous occasion.
“Adele was dressed in classic attire and Simon looked very smart and joyous.”
Adele and Simon have been dating since February. They announced in June that they are expecting their first child together, with Konecki recently revealing that the baby is “coming so soon”.
