Television presenter Justin Lee Collins has been found guilty of harassing his ex partner, Anna Larke.
Collins, 38, was convicted at St Albans Crown Court of harassment and causing fear of violence between January and July 2011, when they lived together in Kew, south-west London.
He has been sentenced to 140 hours of community service.
The court heard that Collins began a “campaign of abuse” against the video games PR worker, keeping a dossier of her past relationships and subjecting her to both emotional and domestic abuse.
The entertainer also made Larke sleep facing him, throw away DVDs featuring actors she found attractive and made death threats against her.
Collins had denied the claims, stating that Anna was a compulsive liar.
The jury took three days to deliberate. As the verdict was read out, Collins reportedly did not show any emotion.
His agent said:
“Given the verdict, we will not be putting out a statement at this time.”
