Nicki to star in series of new E! specials
Rapper Nicki Minaj is to star in her own reality television show, it has been confirmed.
The Va Va Voom star tweeted the news on 28 October, revealing that the new series will air on E! from 4 November:
“We watched the REUP DVD and the 1st episode of the E! series….u guys are going to go crazzzzyyyyy when you see it! NOV19TH DVD, NOV4TH E!” [sic]
The mini series will apparently consist of three 30-minute specials about the 29-year-old, with E! Online reporting that the show will:
“Offer viewers exclusive intimate access to her personal life… including never-before-seen footage.”
Sources claim that a camera crew started filming the singer back in September, around the time she joined the American Idol judging panel alongside Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban.
Nicki is currently in the UK with her Pink Friday Reloaded tour, which runs until 7 November.
I’m interested in knowing a bit more Nicki as a person. Her music is unique and interesting, but I want to know who she is.
