Singer Mika has released short film which features a track from his upcoming album, The Origin of Love.
Make You Happy will not be released as a single officially, but will appear on the 28-year-old’s new record.
The Beirut-born star said of the video premiere:
“Here’s the first song I wanted you to hear from my new record, ‘The Origin of Love.’
“This is not a single but a song I really love and wanted to share with you.
“I commissioned a short film which I felt perfectly captured the sentiment of the track. The film was directed by Iouri Philippe PaillĂ© and was made in Montreal.
“This is where the entire album started taking shape a year ago with Nick Littlemore at Planet Studios in Papineau.”
Mika, whose real name is Michael Holbrook Penniman, had a number of hits in the mid-2000s, with his debut album, Life in Cartoon Motion, selling more than 5.6million copies worldwide.
