Kim and Kanye expecting their first child

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are to become parents for the first time, with the rapper choosing to share the pair’s happy news in front of 5,000 fans while on stage in New Jersey.

West, 35, stopped his set mid-performance on 30 December to ask the crowd to “make some noise for my baby mama right there”, before proceeding to serenade his girlfriend of eight months, Kardashian.

Kim, 32, later confirmed the news herself through a statement posted on her website, which read:

“It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby.

“We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us.

“Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!!”

Kim and Kanye got together in April 2012, following Kardashian’s split from husband, Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage. The pair are still legally married.

Coleen announces pregnancy

Baby number two for Coleen and Wayne

Coleen Rooney has revealed that she and husband Wayne are expecting their second child.

The 26-year-old WAG chose to announce the couple’s happy news over Twitter, posting yesterday:

“A few people guessed, so news is out ha!! Me Wayne and Kai are thrilled that we are expecting a new addition to our family around May time.

“Its still only early but bursting with excitement! Also wanted the news to come from us, before anyone else!”

A number of celebrity friends tweeted their congratulations, with Wayne’s former Manchester United teammate, Michael Owen, writing:

“Didn’t think you had it in you to fill another pram! Still a couple behind me!

“Congratulations to you both.”

Wayne, 26, and Coleen already have a son together, Kai, who is almost three.

The pair, who were childhood sweethearts, married back in June 2008 when they were 22.

Fearne Cotton announces pregnancy

Fearne’s expecting her first child

Radio DJ Fearne Cotton has revealed she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend, Jesse Wood.

The BBC Radio One star shared her happy news via Twitter on 8 August, posting a link to a page on her official website which read:

“Jesse and I are very happy to announce we are having a baby.

“We are over the moon, morning sickness aside (me, not Jess) and looking forward to the little Cotton Woods arrival.”

Thirty-year-old Fearne and Jesse, son of rocker Ronnie Wood, have been dating since last July, getting together shortly after Cotton broke off her relationship with fiancé Jessie Jenkins.

Baby number two for Lily and Sam

After weeks of speculation, it has been confirmed that singer Lily Allen is pregnant with baby number two.

The star’s father, Keith Allen, revealed the news on ITV1′s This Morning, telling hosts:

“Yes, she is pregnant!”

Lily and her husband, Sam Cooper, welcomed their first child together, Ethel, last December, and the pair are said to be “thrilled” to be expecting a new arrival.

A source reportedly told the Sunday Mirror:

“Lily has started telling her friends and everybody in her close circle is so excited for her.

“It was a surprise but Lily and Sam are thrilled. The pair of them have loved every minute of parenthood so far and wanted to expand their brood quickly. So it’s great timing.”

Since the birth of her daughter, Lily has enjoyed some time away from the spotlight, however she did make an appearance at one of the Stone Roses’ recent come-back gigs at Heaton Park, joining rapper friend Professor Green on stage as he supported the Manchester legends.

Adele announces pregnancy

Adele said to be ‘over the moon’

Superstar singer Adele has revealed that she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki.

The 24-year-old chose to share her happy news through the blog on her official website, saying they are both “over the moon”:

“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me.

“Obviously, we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx.”

Stars took to Twitter to send their congratulations to the multi-award-winning singer and her charity boss other half, with new mum Lily Allen posting:

“Wow. Adele’s preggers! Congratumalations to her and Simon!”

The pair have been dating for just over six months

Drew Barrymore gets hitched

Third time lucky for Drew as she marries Will Kopelman

Drew Barrymore and her other half Will Kopelman have married in an intimate ceremony in California.

Drew, who is pregnant with her first child, apparently wore a Chanel gown and had the likes of Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon in attendance.

The ceremony was officiated by a Rabbi and took place at the couple’s estate in Montecito over the weekend.

A source told People that the occasion was “a classic, simple, very pretty, garden-inspired wedding”.

Art consultant Kopelman popped the question back in December, when the pair were on holiday in Idaho.

Barrymore, 37, has been married twice before, tying the knot with comedian Tom Green in 1999 and marrying Jeremy Thomas in 1994.

Peaches announces pregnancy

Baby news for Peaches

Peaches Geldof is pregnant with her first child, her spokesperson has confirmed.

The socialite and one-time television presenter, who announced her engagement to Thomas Cohen back in December, is said to be “utterly thrilled” at the news.

Her spokesperson said:

“Peaches Geldof and her fiancé Thomas Cohen are delighted to announce that Peaches is pregnant with their first child.

“Peaches is utterly thrilled and they have the full support of both of their families who are equally excited for the baby’s arrival.”

The 22-year-old daughter of Boomtown Rat, Bob Geldof, apparently got engaged to her other indie rocker other half back in June, but only recently revealed the news.

Her marriage to Cohen won’t be her first trip down the aisle, as she wed musician Max Drummy after just 10 days of dating back in 2009.

Lily debuts baby bump

Singer Lily Cooper has debuted her baby bump, posting a Halloween-themed picture via her Twitter account.

The Smile star has been taking it easy ahead of the arrival of her new child, but last night she chose to give us a glimpse of her ever-growing bump, alongside the caption:

“Me, bump and pumpkin, I did it last night during X Factor.”

Lily is due this November and has been keeping fans updated with how she is getting on through her Twitter profile.

Earlier this month, she posted of her baby shower hesitance, saying “en route to baby shower, bit scared!”

She also appeared less than impressed with comments her husband Sam made, tweeting:

“My husband just called me his “little Fat Controller” – like off of Thomas the Tank Engine, so not LOL.”

Lily, 26, and Sam Cooper married back in June at a village church in Gloucestershire.

News that the singer was pregnant broke soon after, with her dress designer, Delphine Manivet, revealing:

“It’s beautiful that she is pregnant, and I am very happy for her.

“You can see of course the little stomach – it looked very cute with the dress.”

Stacey Solomon expecting baby

Stacey expecting second child

Former X Factor star Stacey Solomon has revealed that she is pregnant.

It is the I’m a Celeb… winner’s second child, but her first with her current boyfriend Aaron Barham.

Stacey already has a 3-year-old son, Zac, from a previous relationship.

Soloman spoke to The Sun confirming the happy news, telling the publication:

“We are really excited. And I’m really looking forward to everything, knowing I am sharing it with the person I want to spend my life with.”

The 22-year-old recently signed up to be the host of new Sky dating show, Love Machine, alongside BBC Radio One DJ, Chris Moyles.

She also signed a record deal in September, intending record and release her debut album.

Baby Bey to be born in February

Pregnant R&B star Beyoncé has revealed when her baby is due.

The Best Thing I Never Had singer, who announced in August that she is expecting her first child with her rap superstar husband Jay-Z, revealed that the couple will welcom their baby in February 2012.

The 30-year-old made the announcement during an interview for Australian television over the weekend, saying:

“[Being pregnant] already has changed my life. My husband and I have been together for ten years, all of my 20s.

“I just feel like it’s time and I’m very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift any human can have.”

Talking about the timing of her pregnancy, Knowles said:

“I think because I’ve accomplished a lot of things for myself, I really know who I am.

“I didn’t rush into anything and I feel like if it’s any time, right now is the time and I’m so happy.”
