Kristen accused of fling with married father-of-two
Reports have emerged that Kristen Stewart has apparently cheated on her Twilight co-star other half, Robert Pattinson, with a married director.
The 22-year-old starlet allegedly had a fling with the director of her latest film, Snow White and the Huntsman, married father-of-two, Rupert Sanders.
American entertainment magazine US Weekly claims to have proof of the actress’ indiscretion; obtaining a photograph of 41-year-old Sanders with his arms wrapped around Kristen, which was taken last Tuesday (17 July).
People.com is also reporting on the story, with a source reportedly describing Kristen as “devastated” at her “lapse in judgement”:
“Kristen is absolutely devastated. It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgement.
“She wasn’t having an affair with Rupert. It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn’t have happened. She never meant to hurt anyone. She’s a good person who just made a bad choice.”
Kristen and Brit boy Robert met while filming the Twilight saga movies together and have always tried to keep details about their relationship private.
Pattinson, 26, finally confirmed that he and Kristen were an item at the BAFTAs back in February 2010, telling The Sun at the time:
“It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes. We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy.
“This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it’s impossible. We are here together and it’s a public event but it’s not easy. We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention.”
Sanders is married to supermodel Liberty Ross, 33, and they have two children together.
