Acts confirmed for this year’s V Festival

Tinie is among the acts set to perform

Tinie Tempah, Nicki Minaj and The Stone Roses are among the acts confirmed for this year’s V Festival.

Those who are lucky enough to bag tickets will also get the chance to see performances from headliners The Killers, Welsh superstar Tom Jones, DJ David Guetta, BRIT winner Ed Sheeran and singer Emeli Sande.

The festival, which is in its 17th year, will be held at two sites, Hylands park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire, between the 18 and 19 August.

Olly Murs, who also appears on the bill, said:

“Coming back to play at V Festival for a second year is fantastic! I’ve been going to the festival as a punter for years, so performing there is always going to be special – especially on that main stage.

“I’m bringing my full 10 piece band with me this year, it’s going to be immense – I can’t wait”

Other acts set to perform include Snow Patrol, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Example, Dappy, Pixie Lott and Madness.

Fans have been urged by Festival Director, Bob Angus, to only purchase tickets from official outlets to avoid disappointment:

“As in previous years, we want to again emphasise how important it is for fans to buy their tickets from official outlets listed on VFestival.com.

“This will ensure they don’t miss out on what promises to be the hottest ticket this summer.”

Tickets go on sale from 10am on Friday 2 March, with official outlets listed on the V Festival website.
