McFly’s Tom ties the knot

Tom and Giovanna got hitched on 12 May

McFly’s Tom Fletcher has married his long-term girlfriend, Giovanna Falcone.

The pair tied the knot on 12 May, with Tom’s bandmates, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter, as the best men.

Among the celebrity guests attending the ceremony were Fearne Cotton and her boyfriend, Ronnie Wood’s son, Jesse, Busted singer Matt Willis, Inbeetweeners stars Hannah Tointon and Joe Thomas and Giovanna’s brother, TOWIE star Mario Falcone.

The bridal party and the McFly stars were pictured outside the venue, however no images of the happy couple have been seen, presumabely due to a magazine deal.

Tom, 26, did gave us a small insight into his big day, tweeting on 13 May:

“Thanks for all your messages yesterday. We had the most INCREDIBLE wedding with our friends and family. I am the luckiest husband EVER! x “

The pair, who first met aged 13 at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, got engaged in April 2011.

The Simpleton Life?

Harry and Amy's next venture

The Only Way is Essex stars Amy Childs and Harry Derbridge are set to star in a British remake of The Simple Life, according to reports.

Already dubbed The Simpleton Life, the pair will have to complete a series of ‘tough’ challenges, including putting in a shift at Domino’s Pizza, working in a coal mine and deep sea fishing in the Outer Hebrides.

A source told The Sun:

“The show will be just like The Simple Life but, dare I say it, even more ridiculous.

“Amy and Harry are not exactly known for their ability to do everyday tasks so it’s a car crash waiting to happen.

“In fairness, they are quite funny as a duo and bosses are hoping their daft chemistry will keep people entertained.”

Harry and Amy stepped into the spotlight after appearing on Essex-based dramality show, The Only Way is Essex, which started in 2011.

They will follow in the footsteps of hotel heiress Paris Hilton and former wild child Nicole Richie, who starred in five series of The Simple Life from 2003 to 2007.

The show followed the wealthy pair’s exploits as they left behind their mobile phones and credit cards and were challenged to undertake a number of manual, low-paying jobs.

Let’s Dance line-up revealed

Steve and Alex to return for the fourth series

The line-up for this year’s Let’s Dance for Sport Relief has been revealed, with a whole host of famous faces ready to recreate some of the nation’s best-loved dance routines.

Among the celebrity contestants appearing this year are Radio One DJ Scott Mills and X Factor’s Olly Murs, former England Cricketer Darren Gough, Tracy Beaker actress Dani Harmer and former Olympian Fatima Whitbread.

Joining them over the next four weeks will be The Only Way is Essex stars Amy Childs and Harry Derbridge, comedian Omid Djalili, Shooting Stars regulars Ulrika Jonsson and Angelos Epithemiou and DJ Tony Blackburn.

The show will be hosted once again by Steve Jones and Alex Jones, with former X Factor USA presenter Steve saying:

“The BBC, Let’s Dance, and Alex Jones… three of my favourite things. I couldn’t ask for a better show to come home to… I can’t wait!”

Co-presenter Alex added:

“I am so excited to be back on such a great show with the fabulous Steve Jones. After my time on Strictly I am only sorry that it won’t be me dancing the night away!”

Each week, a mix of solo dancers, duos and groups will perform iconic dance routines in front of a live studio audience and performances will be reviewed by a panel of three famous judges.

Both judges and viewers will vote for their favourite two acts to go through to the grand final on 17 March, where the eight finalists will dance again with the hope of being crowned Let’s Dance champion 2012.

Catch Let’s Dance on 17 February at 7pm on BBC One.

TOWIE sisters Sam and Billie attacked

'Brutal attack'

The Only Way is Essex stars Sam and Billie Faiers are recovering after an “unprovoked” attack by a gang of women, according to reports.

The trouble started on 22 October, when a group of girls targeted Billie in The Jet Black Club, stealing her £1,500 Mulberry handbag containing cash and her mobile phone.

According to the Daily Mail, the two reality stars complained to bouncers, who then threw the trouble-makers out, but as 21-year-old Billie left, she was attacked by the same girls.

Footage captured by a passer-by appears to show Billie being thrown to the floor, having her hair grabbed and being sworn at.

Later that night, Sam, 20, and a friend were also attacked, after meeting the group to get her sister’s phone back.

The 10 girls then ran off, leaving the TOWIE star for dead.

A spokesman for the Faiers sisters described it as an “unprovoked and horrific attack”.

Sam is said to have suffered two black eyes, a swollen nose and bruises and was rushed to hospital for a brain scan in the wake of the attack.

Last night, Billie took to her Twitter page to thank fans for their messages of support, while this morning Sam tweeted:

“Just want to say a big thank you to everyone. I love u all lots. Am resting up all day :-) thank you for your kind messages x x”

She and Billie are now said to be “recovering at home”.

TOWIE pair get matching nose jobs

The Only Way is Essex stars Kirk Norcross and Lauren Pope have decided to go under the knife, opting for matching nose jobs.

The reality television pair were spotted leaving a London hospital at the weekend, looking battered a bruised after the procedure.

Glamour model turned DJ Lauren and boyfriend Kirk clutched bags of prescription painkillers as they left the clinic, complete with black eyes, splints, casts, plasters and heavy padding on their noses.

Twenty-seven-year-old Pope revealed details of the operation via her Twitter page on 20 June, posting:

“Just had a bump removed that I didn’t like…nowt major!

“We’re ok, just a bit bruised and bored already! Lol. It’s only a week recovery so I’ll be back in action by Fri x.

“Only slight black eyes tho[ugh], the surgeon must of been very gentle with us cos we both had [th]em broken!”

The couple had an overnight stay at the private Highgate Hospital to recover from the operation before being discharged on Saturday.

According to the hospital’s website, the rhinoplasty operations by Make Yourself Amazing cosmetic surgery cost £3,750 each.
