Inbetweeners star marries

James and Clair tie the knot in Scotland

Inbetweeners star James Buckley has married his girlfriend of two years, Clair Meek.

The pair held their nuptials at Dundas Castle, just outside Edinburgh, with 25-year-old Buckley donning a kilt for the occasion.

James’ Inbetweeners co-stars, Simon Bird, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas were also in attendance, alongside other famous friends including Danny Dyer, who Tweeted after the event:

“A lovely cute couple.I wish @RealJBuckley & the lovely @Clair_Meek all the best.I almost wanna get married. (almost).” [sic]

A source reportedly told the Daily Record:

“Clair and James looked so happy together. He was loving the excuse to get dressed up in his kilt. The day was perfect.”

Buckley and Meek got together in 2010, with James apparently proposing in April of this year. The couple also have a baby boy together, one-year-old Harrison.

Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively ‘marry’

Ryan and Blake tie the knot in South Carolina

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have wed in South Carolina, according to reports.

People magazine in the US is reporting that the pair tied the knot on 9 September at Boone Hall Plantation, near Charleston in South Carolina.

The publication also reveals apparent details about the ceremony, claiming that Florence Welch – of band Florence and the Machine – performed three songs for the couple, while the reception is believed to have taken place in a white marquee on the property.

Twenty-five-year-old Lively, star of teen show Gossip Girl, and Reynolds, 35, have always been very low key about their relationship, but were first thought to be dating back in October 2011, around the time they filmed The Green Lantern together.

Ryan was previously married to actress Scarlett Johansson. The couple divorced in December 2010 after two years of marriage.

Blake has been linked with Inception star Leonardo DiCaprio and Gossip Girl co-star, Penn Badgley.

Una weds rugby star

Saturdays’ singer Una Healy has married England rugby star Ben Foden in a ceremony in Ireland.

The pair tied the knot on Saturday 30 June, with Una’s bandmates, Mollie King, Vanessa White, Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman, as bridesmaids.

The girls were seen in lilac gowns, however 30-year-old new mum Una shielded her dress due to an up-coming magazine deal.

Following the ceremony, guests took to Twitter to send their best wishes, with Mollie posting:

“Had THE most incredible day! What a beautiful bride @UnaTheSats made, or Mrs Foden should I say ;-) . Loving my new brother in law @ben_foden.”

Fellow Saturday Rochelle, who is set to marry her beau, JLS singer Marvin Humes, followed suit, tweeting:

“Never been so proud of anyone! My @UnaTheSats was THE most beautiful bride, very emotional, @ben_foden wins best speech! Love you both xx.”

Ben and Una got together in 2008, after being introduced via their agents.

They announced they were expecting their first child back in October, with Foden proposing a few months later.

Agyness Deyn marries Friends star

Model Agyness wed Friends actor Ribisi last weeekend

Agyness Deyn has married actor Giovanni Ribisi in small ceremony in Los Angeles, it has been confirmed.

The wedding comes as a surprise to many, as it wasn’t widely known that the couple were dating.

Ribisi’s publicist broke the news on 21 June, telling the Huffington Post:

“Agyness Deyn and Giovanni Ribisi quietly married in Los Angeles over the weekend.”

According to Crown City News, the pair were spotted outside the Los Angeles County Registrar office, and admitted they were getting married and had been dating for a “while”.

Giovanni, 37, an active scientologist, is best known for his role as Phoebe Buffay’s brother, Frank, in Friends, while Deyn, born Laura Hollins, has had success as both a model and actress.

Agyness, 29, hit the headlines earlier this year after it was revealed she lied about her age, confessing that she’s actually six years older than her CV suggested.

Drew Barrymore gets hitched

Third time lucky for Drew as she marries Will Kopelman

Drew Barrymore and her other half Will Kopelman have married in an intimate ceremony in California.

Drew, who is pregnant with her first child, apparently wore a Chanel gown and had the likes of Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon in attendance.

The ceremony was officiated by a Rabbi and took place at the couple’s estate in Montecito over the weekend.

A source told People that the occasion was “a classic, simple, very pretty, garden-inspired wedding”.

Art consultant Kopelman popped the question back in December, when the pair were on holiday in Idaho.

Barrymore, 37, has been married twice before, tying the knot with comedian Tom Green in 1999 and marrying Jeremy Thomas in 1994.

Miley Cyrus gets engaged

Miley’s beau proposed to her on 31 May

Miley Cyrus and her actor other half, Liam Hemsworth have announced their engagement.

Hunger Games star Hemsworth reportedly proposed to girlfriend of three years Miley on 31 May, with People magazine in the States quoting her as saying:

“I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam.”

Miley is yet to speak directly about her engagement on Twitter, however she did post “heaven is a place on earth” on 1 June, the day after Liam proposed.

The pair met while filming The Last Song together, but split briefly in 2010.

Hemsworth, 22, spoke to Details magazine earlier this year about getting together with Miley during the film, revealing:

“What happened happened, and we’ve been together ever since.”

She makes me really happy. When you start, you want to be professional, but when you’re filming those scenes with someone and pretending to love them, you’re not human if you don’t feel something.”

McFly’s Tom ties the knot

Tom and Giovanna got hitched on 12 May

McFly’s Tom Fletcher has married his long-term girlfriend, Giovanna Falcone.

The pair tied the knot on 12 May, with Tom’s bandmates, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter, as the best men.

Among the celebrity guests attending the ceremony were Fearne Cotton and her boyfriend, Ronnie Wood’s son, Jesse, Busted singer Matt Willis, Inbeetweeners stars Hannah Tointon and Joe Thomas and Giovanna’s brother, TOWIE star Mario Falcone.

The bridal party and the McFly stars were pictured outside the venue, however no images of the happy couple have been seen, presumabely due to a magazine deal.

Tom, 26, did gave us a small insight into his big day, tweeting on 13 May:

“Thanks for all your messages yesterday. We had the most INCREDIBLE wedding with our friends and family. I am the luckiest husband EVER! x “

The pair, who first met aged 13 at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, got engaged in April 2011.

Weekend wedding for Carey, Marcus?

Carey and Marcus to marry this weekend?

Actress Carey Mulligan and singer Marcus Mumford are set to wed over the weekend, according to reports.

Carey, who got engaged to the Mumford and Sons star in August 2011 after five months of dating, is said to be “walking on air”, with a source telling RadarOnline:

“Carey and Marcus are counting down the days till they tie the knot! She is absolutely walking on air and can hardly contain her excitement.

“They don’t care that some of their friends think they are rushing things. They are madly in love and know they are perfect for each other.

“It’s going to be an amazing weekend as they will be surrounded by their closest family and friends.”

The couple met just months after 26-year-old Carey split from Transformers actor – and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps co-star – Shia LeBeouf.

According to the Daily Mail, Marcus, 25, invited Mulligan to watch him play a secret show in Nashville:

“She sat in the front row and while he was singing Marcus looked down at Carey and she blushed. It was clear they had chemistry.

“Afterwards they went to the City House restaurant and dined with friends but they sat together and acted like a couple.”

Sinead calls off divorce

Sinead and Barry back together

Sinead O’Connor has said that she is calling of her divorce, just over a week after announcing it.

O’Connor and Barry Herridge, who met after Sinead made an appeal for a husband on her blog, wed at the beginning of December in Las Vegas.

They announced their split 16 days later, however, the pair now appear to have made up.

The singer returned to her Twitter account to share her good news, posting a series of updates on 4 January:

“Yay!!! we decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend again an stay married but we did rush so we gonna return to b friend g friend .

“An be sickenly happy an go counsellin an move in in like a yr like regular people.. but stay married an we all in love.

“Yay!!! me husband is a big hairy cave man an came to claim me with his club : ) and now im in cave-land.. yay!! we both go panto! [sic]“

O’Connor previously told The Sun that being married to drug counsellor Herridge was like “living in a coffin”, claiming she ended the union out of “respect for him”.

She also revealed that her marriage got into trouble almost immediately, when she nearly bought crack cocaine on her wedding night.

Tara Reid marries mystery man

'I am now a wife'

Tara Reid has announced that she got married in Greece, just hours after getting engaged.

The American Pie actress announced her engagement to mystery man Zack Kehayov on Saturday via her Twitter page, despite the world believing she was in a relationship with Danish businessman, Michael Lilleund.

Later that same evening, she returned to the social networking site to announce to the world that the pair had tied the knot.

The 35-year-old actress posted:

“Thank you for all of your support! I love you guys. Love in Greece… I am now a wife :) .”

Reid’s ex, Lillelund, was today forced to make a statement following her spur of the moment wedding to Kehayov, which said:

“If she has married, then she hasn’t married me, that’s for sure.

“I haven’t spoken to her since February. I’m in the Hamptons in New York. I’m not even in Greece.

“If Tara has married, then I’ll be the first to congratulate her.”

Later this year Tara will reprise her role as girl next door, Vicky Lathum, in the fourth instalment of the American Pie franchise.

She is also one of a host of stars reported to be taking part in the relaunch of Celebrity Big Brother this August.
